Drug Facts
Active Ingredients (in each tablet)

Acetaminophen - 194.4 mg

Aspirin - 226.8 mg

Caffeine - 32.4 mg

 

Uses: For the temporary relief of menstrual cramps, and the minor aches and pain associated with pre menstrual and menstrual periods.

 

Warnings: Reye's syndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. 

 

Allergy alert: Aspirin may cause a severe allergic reaction which may include
-Hives
-facial swelling
-asthma (wheezing)
-shock 

 

Alcohol warning:

If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen and aspirin or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen and aspirin may cause liver damage and stomach bleeding.

 

Do not use
-with any other pain reliever/fever reducer
-for more than 10 days for pain or for more than 3 days for fever unless directed by a doctor 

 

Ask a doctor before use if you have:

-ever had an allergic reaction to other pain reliever/fever reducers
-asthma
-an allergy to aspirin
-ulcers
-bleeding problems
-stomach problems (such as heartburn, upset stomach, or stomach pain) that persist or recur 

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are presently taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning of the blood), diabetes, gout or arthritis.

 

Stop use and ask a doctor if:
-an allergic reaction occurs. Seek medical help right away
-symptoms do not improve
-new symptoms occur
-pain or fever persists or worsens
-redness or swelling is present
-ringing in the ears or a loss of hearing occurs

 

If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. IT IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT NOTTO USE ASPIRIN DURING THE LAST 3 MONTHS OF PREGNANCY UNLESS DEFINITELY DIRECTED TO DO SO BY A DOCTOR BECAUSE IT MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS IN THE UNBORN CHILD OR COMPLICATIONS DURING DELIVERY.

 

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.

 

Directions:   

Adults and children 12 years of age and over: Take 2 tablets every 6 hours while symptoms persist.
-do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor
-children under 12 years of age: consult a doctor

-tablets enclosed in a sealed child-resistant packet
-do not use if pouch is broken or torn
-store at room temperature
-avoid excessive heat

 

Inactive Ingredients: Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, D. & C. Yellow # 10, Magnesium Stearate, Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), Silicon Dioxide, Sodium Meta Bisulphate, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Starch, and Stearic Acid
