DecongestantSudo-Tab PE - Nasal Decongestant

Drug Facts

Active Ingredient (in each tablet)

Phenylephrine Hydrochloride - 5 mg.

 

Purpose: For the temporary relief of nasal congestion and pressure due to the common cold, hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies.

 

Warnings: Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes or trouble urinating due to enlargement of the prostrate gland.

 

Ask a Doctor or Pharmacist before use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's Disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAIO drug. If you do not know if your prescription contains an MAOI, ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.

 

Stop use and ask a doctor: if you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless, if symptoms do not improve within 7 days or are accompanied by a fever, if new symptoms occur or if redness or swelling is present.

 

IF PREGNANT OR BREAST-FEEDING, ASK A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL BEFORE USE.

 

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away 1-800-222-1222.

 

Directions: Do not take more than directed  

- Adults and children 12 years of age and over: Take 2 caplets every 4 hours while symptoms persist.

- Do not take more than 12 caplets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor

- children under 12 years of age: not intended for use in children under 12; ask your doctor.

-store at room temperature

-do not use if packet is torn, cut or open

-avoid excessive heat and humidity
