Trailer Stabilizing Jacks

Trailer stabilizing jacks help prevent rear end lift when driving to the front end of a trailer while loading or unloading when it is not coupled to a cab. They also help prevent the trailers fixed jacks from collapsing. 

 

OSHA states in the forklift standard 1910.178(k)(3) Fixed jacks may be necessary to support a semitrailer and prevent upending during the loading or unloading when the trailer is not coupled to a tractor.
